The next Philosophy Cafe will be held on Tuesday, April 8, from 7.30pm at the University of Notre Dame – The old P & O building, Cnr High St. and Mouat St. Buidling ND5, room 106.

The question for discussion is: ‘How do we explain pain and suffering in the world to children?’

Join us for some interesting philosophical exchange. Things to consider: How would you define pain and suffering? Consider the kind of evidence and manner you would choose to convey your message. How would you justify your response to any objections raised? That is, on what grounds.

Workshops and Professional Development

We run workshops and professional development sessions, designed to prepare teachers for both Primary and Secondary teaching of Philosophy. Level One and Two courses are offered as certified Professional Development, with practicing teacher/philosophers who are accredited in the field.
The next Level One course will be held:
Friday 7th March and Saturday 29th March.
