The next Philosophy Cafe will be held on Thursday, March 13, from 7.30pm at the King Street Arts Centre, 357-365 Murray Street, Perth – Large Meeting Room (Entry from Murray street next to ‘Form’).
The claim for discussion is: ‘Hope is futile in the face of experience.’ Join us for some interesting philosophical exchange.
Things to consider: What sort of reasoning would you offer to support your claim? Consider the kind of evidence that would be acceptable to another critical person. How would you justify your response to any objections raised? That is, on what grounds.
