Philosophy Cafe

NDA The next Philosophy Cafe will be held on Tuesday, February 12, at St John of God Hall, Notre Dame University, 21 Henry Street, Fremantle, Room 104, from 7.30PM.

The question for discussion is: ‘Can emotions help us make a moral decision?’

You can get warmed up for the discussion by visiting the discussion forum on this site. The discussion can then continue after the Cafe.

Join us for some interesting philosophical exchange!

Things to consider: What sort of reasoning would you offer to support your claim? Consider the kind of evidence that would be acceptable to another critical person. How would you justify your response to any objections raised? That is, on what grounds.

Workshops and Professional Development

We run workshops and professional development sessions, designed to prepare teachers for both Primary and Secondary teaching of Philosophy. Level One and Two courses are offered as certified Professional Development, with practicing teacher/philosophers who are accredited in the field.
The next Level One course will be held:
Friday 7th March and Saturday 29th March.
